My client, a digital start-up AI Software Builder, that specialises in building, maintaining and running bespoke software for their customers, making it faster, more accessible and less expensive for everyone to bring their ideas to life.
They are very keen to hire a Vice President of HR to create world-class experiences for the business as well as mentor and develop a growing UX team.
Last year they secured $29.5m of funding to scale our growth in Europe. They already have three offices in LA, Delhi, and London and recently hit 250 employees globally. A key focus for them this year is to significantly grow their London operation.
About the Role
As the company grows and they live their mission, they are looking for their Vice President of HR to direct and oversee their People plans in line with the overall strategy.
This position has high accountability and reports directly to the COO. We want candidates who can prove they are leaders, strategic thinkers, effective people managers, problem-solvers and coaches.
Responsibilities
Evolve the company`s vision, mission and culture in line with our aspirations
Develop strategic People plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation etc.) to land a superior employee experience
Build a best-in-class team of People team to enable the people plans
Help build a diverse workforce and ensure a robust talent pipeline for the future.
Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency while delighting your customers (employees)
Build a culture of compliance and ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices
Analyze the effectiveness of People operations and policies through a data-based approach
Enable the CEO, CFO and COO to take data-based business and people decisions
Enable capability building across the organization through appropriate training and development
Partner and coach leaders to build an organization needed to deliver high quality business results
Requirements
Proven experience as VP of HR/People or in other senior People leadership roles
Experience in strategic workforce planning and implementation across the hire-to-retire HR processes
Deep knowledge of People functions (talent management, recruitment etc.) and their interdependencies
Ability to use metrics and analytics for decision-making
Knowledge of local and international labor law
Aptitude in communicating and public speaking
Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities
