This FTSE250 success story delivers a range of cutting-edge products across an international customer base. It is highly acquisitive with an ambitious growth plan and an impressive Exec management team. The business is now seeking a dynamic Financial Controller.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director and leading a small team, you will:

* Own the consolidated accounting and management reporting
* External reporting for shareholders
* Own delivery of the forecasting, budgeting and long range financial plan
* Ensure a robust and compliant IFRS and local reporting standards framework
* Own relationship with auditors
* P&L and Balance sheet review
* Overhaul processes, systems and controls

As an ambitious and driven, qualified accountant you will demonstrate up-to-date technical accounting knowledge combined with a commercial appreciation how finance can help drive a business. Experience of Manufacturing/engineering/heavy industry whilst not essential is preferred, however, experience of working in a change environment is essential. You will have played a key role in driving improvements through the finance function and have a successful track record of building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
