Private Client Solicitor/ Legal Executive - Haywards Heath
Salary - GBP 40k-GBP 55k negotiable
My client is a well-established Law firm that provides specialist commercial legal services to a wide variety of clients across many different market sectors and are currently seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their team in their office based in West Sussex, Haywards Heath.
The firm specialises in commercial property law, commercial litigation and employment as well as private client matters, residential property and private civil litigation.
The Role
The role would be Ideal for someone who has several years PQE (or equivalent) with a demonstrable track record of running a mixed Private Client caseload. You will have experience in (most of) the areas of Wills and Probate, LPAs, Trusts and Estate Planning, Court of Protection. You will also have working knowledge of Inheritance and Capital Gains tax legislation. A strong interest and background in successful business development is highly desirable.
The role reports directly to the senior partner, with the successful candidate having responsibility for managing their own caseload working under their own initiative. You will have a proven track record of attention to detail, and be capable of prioritising and working well under pressure. You will be both literate and numerate and enjoy interacting with clients from all walks of life. A proactive approach towards forging and maintaining relationships with introducers (e.g. IFAs, Accountants, etc.) and the ability to deliver a high standard of client care are also key elements of this position.
