Established in 2016, we are a leading authority in Financial Services (`FS`) consulting, with an aim to provide a more personable and `friendlier` approach to client oriented services. We have witnessed high growth coupled with a broadening and widening of client relationships.

We are proud to work with a diverse range of local and overseas Financial Institutions on a broad range of tax related projects. We are also actively involved in regulatory and technology (GDPR) projects.

This an advisory role, working closely with a young team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Helping develop the business proposition for FATCA, CRS and QI
* Drafting technical responses to clients on operational taxes questions, particularly around FATCA, CRS and QI
* Reviewing and advising on operational tax procedures and processes within financial institutions
* Assisting with business development work including attending client events and networking events
* Creating external communications to update clients on technical developments relating to FATCA, CRS and QI
* Being involved on tax advisory and planning work on their client portfolio
* Helping to prepare first drafts of corporation tax advisory work for financial services clients and working with more senior members of the team to finalise the advice.
* Helping develop the Hansuke business proposition for the US Qualified Intermediary and the Automatic Exchange of Information requirements (FATCA and CRS) and operational taxes more broadly
* Being the principal contact with smaller clients on day to day tax matters and working with senior managers and managers on larger clients
* Coaching and developing junior members of staff
* Assisting with business development work including attending client events and networking events.


Qualities and experience

* Attention to detail / strong communication and interpersonal skills / Highly motivated
* Project management skills / Highly organised / High level analytical skills
* History of developing strong client relationships / Project co-ordination
* Ability and willingness to keep up to date technically and a continuous desire to seek feedback and improve
* CTA, CA, ACA or ACCA or equivalently qualified
* No previous operational tax experience is necessary, but the individual must be keen to learn and demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate detailed technical tax information.
