Strategic & operational role as Senior Facilities Manager with a global manufacturing brand in South Wales
The Role
As Senior Facilities Manager you will develop and manage the function at strategic / operational level and contribute to the ongoing success and direction for the company. Showing a commitment to Continuous Improvement and Lean / Six Sigma, responsibilities include:
* managing two manufacturing / distribution sites ( workforce of c2000 )
* leading / developing team through robust performance management of complex KPIs
* managing both hard & soft FM supply (including current contractors)
* recommending outsourcing in line with delivery of optimum solutions
* leading & embedding major change / enhancement programmes

The Person
As Senior Facilities Manager you will be suitably qualified / well versed in Manufacturing or similar environments, with an interest / exposure to best-practice delivery. With a depth of experience & strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, structured team management and outsourcing review options, you will have managed outsourced contracts and ideally reviewed complex options for this kind of delivery. You will also have:
* leadership strength combined with structured management approach
* analytical mind
* commitment - an individual who thrives on business pressures
* strong people / presentation / business case skills
This is an outstanding opportunity commanding a considerable remuneration package - high base, performance bonus, car allowance and relocation assistance if necessary.
