A leading insurer in the transport/ logistics market are seeking a Senior Claims Manager to join their busy team in Sydney, Australia.
You will be responsible for handling a varied case load relating to liability insurance within logistics, freight forwarding and ports & terminals. The role will also hold management responsibilities in which you will mentor junior staff and deputise for the overall running of the Sydney office when required.
The role will also involve a significant amount of customer contact and you will be expected to travel within Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands to fulfil these requirements and maintain customer relationships.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years experience of handling relevant claims and will be commercially astute. You will also showcase excellent communication skills. The company will consider applicants who require relocation to Sydney however it is a strong preference that you will already be eligible to live and work in Australia without a visa.
