Senior Business Analyst (Wealth Management - SIPPS, Tax wraps - platforms - Middle & Back office) - City. This highly successful, banking software house is expanding its UK operation and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst. The company operates in the Wealth Management space - Asset Management / Fund Management. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive and forward-thinking delivery team.
Business Analyst - the Role
This exciting role covers the full range of Business Analyst activities: -
* Writing functional designs
* Reporting to the Product Manager with suggestions for future product direction and enhancements
* Working closely with the Business Development Manager in the sales cycle
* Perform a detailed gap analysis and write system requirements
* Create the requirements conformance matrix
* Assist clients in system benefit analysis
* Ensuring that the client's requirements as captured by the detailed gap analysis are all converted into the functional design document and that this document acts as the foundation from which the technical designs can be derived
* Review and enhance internal client business processes and ensure that these processes meet industry practice.
Business Analyst - the Candidate:
Candidates should have a solid track record as a Business Analyst for a client administration company / financial software vendor in UK Wealth Management / Wrap environments.
Strong platform experience, with middle and back office experience.
You should have a reasonable understanding of the regulatory issues and compliance around UK tax wrappers / wrap accounts and SIPPs. The firm does employ experts for this, but you should be able to demonstrate an understanding.
Any experience of SQL and data modelling useful.
Business Analyst - UK Travel
The role involves UK-wide client work and, with this, Business Analysts can spend 2-3 days per week on client site during certain times of the project. Candidates must be comfortable with this working lifestyle.
