Financial Controller - Property (Client Accounts)
London - London
They are seeking a Partner or Associate Client Accountant which would be in linewithethe duties of a Finacial Controller or Head of Finance within Property and Real Estate. Specific duties and responsibilities include;
Full Client Accounting:
Knowledge & Experience of Client Reporting in various formats
Production of Client Statements and supporting reports in line with Client KPI's
Tax reporting & HMRC Submissions (CIS, VAT, NRL).
Trial balance, Quarterly & Monthly management accounts
Preparation and posting of income adjustments (Rent free periods, Rent Smoothing, Deferring/Accruing of Income)
Preparation of statutory accounts
Distribution of Rental Income & Control of Cash Balances
Database & Lease Administration
Full Client & Tenant liaison
Service Charge Accounting:
Service charge reviews & Cash Reconciliations
Control of Void Liabilities & Caps
Cashflows & Budget Variance Analysis
Liaising with 3rd Party Auditors
Supervision:
Supervising, setting objectives and performing appraisals of staff
Reviewing and approving of team members work for release
Assisting with the day to day operation of the department - approving bank transfers, approval of monthly bank reconciliations
Assisting with the implementation of any new wins or handovers of lost clients
Fees:
Administration of own portfolio management fees
Reconciliation of Fee shares across our different offices
Projects:
Assisting partners with a variety of projects to improve the efficiency and performance of PAM as a department
Helping with the ISAE 3402 audit
Training of staff
Assisting with Data cleanse and system changes
Work with:
Client accountants - Supervision and assisting more junior members of the team Credit control
Purchase ledger
Treasury
Surveyors, Facility Management, On-site staff, Associates, Partners
Personal Experience
Associate or Partner experience within a similar environment
Systems
Qube Horizon
Yardi Propware
Yardi Voyager (desirable, not essential)
Sage (desirable, not essential)
Proficient Microsoft Excel & Word skills
