The Company:

Our client is a medium sized family owned construction equipment sales, rental and service company specialising in crawler cranes, mini cranes, telescopic crawler cranes, truck cranes, piling equipment and soil mixing equipment. Servicing the construction, civil engineering, piling and ground engineering industries.
Our client has a purpose built facility centrally based in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire which includes a modern fully equipped workshop with 25 tons overhead crane, fabrication shop with fume extraction and 2 overhead cranes, large wash bay with water recycling system plus a state of the art paint centre with baking oven, extraction system and the ability to finish equipment in 2-pack solid paint.
Their rental fleet comprises in the region of 100 items of specialist equipment including crawler cranes, mini cranes, telescopic crawler cranes, pile driving rigs, excavator mounted side grip vibro and impact hammer rigs, telescopic leader rigs, CFA piling rigs, drilling tools, bored piling rigs, mixing plants and soil mixing equipment.
They also carry large stocks of used equipment.

The Role:

The successful Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter will be qualified and have experience in Heavy Plant Equipment. The client is based in Warwickshire, but much of their business involves London and the South East, so ideally you will be based in the South East or Midlands area. The Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter would ideally be based in a location that is within easy reach of these areas. The role may also require the candidate to work in Stratford Upon Avon : Warwickshire, when there is no work in the South East/London. The role will also cover all other areas of the UK. The role requires someone who has high standards, and eye for detail and who is committed and flexible. You must be able to work as part of a team to produce top quality work.
Typically you would be expected to work up to approximately 70 hours a week in this mobile role. The GBP 50,000 pa salary is based on these hours. Our client supports its employees with training. As well as heavy Plant experience, it would also be a great advantage if you have auto electrics and crane experience/knowledge.
