one-stop-shop, integrated e-fulfilment solutions to successfully run their clients’ online presence.

The role
Reporting to the COO Logistics, to manage multi channel Warehouse and Distribution operations of store deliveries, online fulfilment and reverse logistics, operating two or three shifts as necessary, 7 days a week, with up to 150 staff at peak, processing 9 million units per year in two adjacent sites of mezzanine and pallet racking operations. Managing a challenging suite of contracts including fashion logistics and fulfilment (flat packed and possibly hanging), e-fulfilment as well as in developing the business by quoting, participating in tenders and the attraction of new clients. The role combines commercial, operational and development functions

- Previous Technical/Systems experience within a similar environment ideally within a multi-user site
- 5 years of experience in managing a warehousing and fulfilment environment at senior level
- Work closely with departments responsible for IT, sales and finance
- Have a good understanding of WMS/WCS functionality
- Have a good understanding of the engineering of warehouse order fulfilment processes
- Experience of a fast-paced environment;
- Formal training/qualification in Warehousing,
- Health & Safety
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- IT skills, including WMS
- Strategic thinker
- Financial and commercial acumen
There is scope for career development and future plans may include management of multi-site operations across the country as the business develops through organic growth and M&A activity
