EMEA FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a reputable media company in 2019 as their EMEA Financial Controller. Joining this exciting organisation with an international foot print you will become a pivotal member of their leadership team.

You shall be responsible for 1 direct report in London, and building close relationships with the finance leads in the different territories across the EMEA.

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary from £100,000 to £130,000 dependent upon experience.



Your duties shall include:
- Accountable for accurate accounting across EMEA - ensuring month end close is achieve
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and GAAP across EMEA
- Ensuring strong internal controls
- Providing an insight and understanding to cash flow analysis
- Oversee completion of monthly cash EBITDA reconciliations across EMEA
- Financial reporting - conducting month end reviews on financial performance
- Review monthly P&L with the FP&A team and align on performance v budget
- Provide important insight to CFO and EMEA leaders



To be considered for this role;
- You shall be ACA Qualified
- Ideally you will have attended a top tier university or Russell Group university
- You will have strong exposure to US GAAP
- Have experience of building international relationships
- Experience of setting up strong financial controls, within a rapidly growing business
- Experience of managing a team
- Preferably having worked within the media, publishing or digital sector
- Have a significant number of years post qualification experience.
