The Role
As Operations / Manufacturing Manager, you will develop, manage and implement the manufacturing and operations strategy of the business to drive forward the ongoing success and direction of the company at operational level. Leading a team of 50+ including Production, Procurement, & Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include:
* leading / developing team(s) through robust performance management of complex KPIs
* embedding major change / enhancement programmes inc. NPI / CI / Lean / Six Sigma
* working to achieve delivery / process / improvement / budget and financial targets

Highly successful and part of a globally respected premium manufacturing brand, our client is a 150 strong, successful and expanding manufacturer of high value products and systems delivered to an international industrial customer base.
The Person
As Operations Manager you will be a suitably qualified manufacturing professional, with experience in Mechanical / Production / Sub-systems environments and exposure to advanced engineering. From a background in automotive, aerospace or similar sophisticated engineering / production environment, you will also have:
* strong commercial acumen ( budgeting / forecasting / business Improvement )
* team leadership / people management / motivation skills
* measured analytical approach in both reporting and delivery
* results focused with ability to thrive under pressure
* automotive / aerospace / advanced manufacturing / engineering background
This is an outstanding opportunity with a remuneration package to match. It includes a high salary base, performance bonus and relocation assistance if necessary.
