Salary: Circa £65,000 (negotiable)

I have a wonderful opportunity for a Home Manager to take over the daily running of my client's beautiful Nursing Home close to Bedford. This is a 60 bed home that provides a caring environment for older people living with and without dementia who require nursing care. There is also a 20 bed ABI unit which has a Deputy Manager overseeing the daily running of it.

The role of the Home Manager will be to oversee the day to day running of the home, recruitment, appraisals, disciplinaries, marketing beds, care packages, liaising with local authorities and CQC.

The successful home manager will need to:

* Be a Registered Nurse RGN or RMN
* Be an experienced Nursing Home Manager.
* Registered Manager's Award Level 4 or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5.
* Be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the needs of older people, dementia and physical disabilities.
* Possess excellent communication and organisation skills.
* Ensure CQC compliance & Improvement.
* Develop links with local authorities and other outside organisations.
* Deliver excellent person-centred care and oversee all safeguarding issues.
