The Role: Science Assessment Services Managing Director

* We are looking for an innovative leader to manage the Science Industry Assessment Services Business unit within this Skills Services Company and providing leadership to the staff.
* Based in the North West with nationwide travel, you will be responsible for the business performance and operational delivery of the service, by developing business and marketing strategies in order to achieve business growth and secure/increase market share.
* You will develop expertise in all aspects of apprenticeship policy (funding, ESFA, Ofqual and EPA) and lead on continuous improvement, design and development of products, services, resources and processes to ensure further growth, whilst maintaining quality standards and meeting strict requirements.
* You will also lead relationship management of key stakeholders ensuring the unit's reputation as an EPAO is enhanced and maintained.
* A DBS check prior to the commencement of role is required.


Essential Requirements: Science Assessment Services Managing Director

* Experience in developing business strategies, plans and managing business risk leading to successful business growth along with in managing budgets with the ability to process and analyse work whilst delivering a high level of service
* Experience of planning and delivering a high-quality service and implementing quality management systems for said service
* Expertise in all aspects of apprenticeship policy, funding, key Government agencies such as ESFA and OfQual, and in particular EPA
* An innovative leader with strong organisational skills with proven programme and project management delivery.
* Experience of managing a P&L and experience of working with finance and management accounts to plan and deliver against targets.
* Experience either occupationally or delivering on Science or Engineering based qualifications
