FINANCIAL ANALYST

My client, a prestigious, Property business based in Manchester, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. Located in the heart of Manchester City Centre, the successful candidate will join a successful business with a Global operation, who are experiencing an exciting period of growth. The role will predominately be based in Manchester but there may be some international travel required.

Reporting to the CFO in this newly created position, you will be responsible for researching and analysing financial information and writing reports that will help senior management make critical decisions about the feasibility of development projects, operational results and expense management.

Key responsibilities include:

· Gather and organise financial data from all accounting departments
· Consolidate and analyse financial data and reports including budgets, income statements, and forecasts, taking into account company's goals and financial standing
· Assemble and summarise data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
· Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
· Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies
· Provide monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management executives
· Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
· Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
· Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
· Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts
· Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
