INTERIM SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Wandsworth - Home Based
Our client, a leading Local Authority, is looking to bring in an Interim Senior Accountant.
You will be required to have the following:
- Experience of using Integra integrated FAM module in a local authority accounting system
- Experience of year end accounting for fixed assets in a local authority (ideally a London Borough but any large local authority with over 30 assets) so CIPFA Code compliant
- Producing year end notes and working papers for Statement of Accounts and auditors in a clear format.
- Thorough understanding of the CIPFA Code compliant accounting treatment for capital and asset transactions and experience of putting these entries onto the ledger
- CIPFA Code closing experience in other areas to help other teams
