My client, a global software development company is looking for a humble, but ambitious, razor-sharp Lead DevOps Engineer who can teach the business a thing or two and the company promise to return the favour. They are looking for a multi-sector professional with experience in Media Publishing, Finance or Banking.

Description
The business takes product development and platform engineering seriously and is looking for the same in the ideal candidate, you need to be passionate about technology and leadership.
They embrace those who see things differently, aren`t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints. That`s where you come in. They are currently seeking a Director of Engineering (DevOps) to drive technical vision and provide leadership for a group of DevOps engineers in an innovative and fast paced environment.
Their selection process will emphasize technical and architectural skills as well as leadership/management/organizational skills equally. The ideal candidate must be a master of their domain in cloud based DevOps. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must be able to inspire, champion and teach when the need arises.
We are looking for someone who`s is equally comfortable leading by influence or authority. Last, they are looking for a rare mix of intelligence, integrity, domain knowledge, verbal agility, and diplomacy which allows you to rapidly earn the trust of technically astute engineers and product astute product management leaders.
Why They Need This Role
They are looking or a lead-of-leads to manage the engineering department and team leaders. You will bring modern development practices and be responsible for the progress and continuous improvement of the quality of the deliverables for the engineering team.
They are looking for a leader to help them achieve and maintain maximum potential in areas of scale, security, fiscal efficiency and fault tolerance. This includes everything from authentication to authorization service to programmatic cross cloud resource initiation, orchestration and continuity.
Requirements
Strong technical leadership experience and a deep understanding of technology landscape.
Extensive solid experience in modern Internet Infrastructure, including at least 4 - 5 years in cloud based DevOps environment
