We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Retail Sales to join a successful company based in the East Kent area.

You will be responsible for the delivery of sales growth across the UK and Europe in the Retail business by leading and coaching the retail team to generate leads from new and existing customers, at appropriate financial margins.

Head of Retail Sales - Key Duties/Responsibilities
*To identify and target growth with a 40% split of time on existing account management and 60% on lead generation and new business development in the UK and Europe
*Leverage marketing support to identify and report on business opportunities in key markets and territories
*Develop a clear understanding of the market needs in order to develop plans and tactics to meet the need
*Work closely with the Technical Team to develop and take new products to market
*Champion market intelligence to proactively seek market insight to inform product and process R&D, market positioning and messaging
*Set and report on growth targets and KPI's
*Manage, coach and develop a team of Sales, Customer Service and Marketing associate
*Represent the business at international conferences, trade shows and networking events as applicable
*Responsible for the compilation of sales and marketing plans and growth strategies
*Any other duties reasonably assigned

Head of Retail Sales Requirements:
*Market knowledge
*Demonstrable Business development experience
*Demonstrable experience in building and developing a team
*The ideal candidate will currently be Senior Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager looking for that next steps
*Must be able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and communicate clearly
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Eager, driven and self-motivated
*Resourceful, confident and a positive can-do attitude
*Able and willing to travel nationwide and within Europe
*Potential MD designate
