The Company

An exciting opportunity to join a Market Leading environmental company who work across a variety of sectors. With over 55 years` experience within the Industry , the team have more than doubled their sales in the last year and are now looking to develop their maritime business globally.

The Role

* We are looking for a highly motivates and self-driven Sales and Marketing Manager with a passion for technology within the environmental sector, to take the lead in driving the company forward in the European and American Markets. The role will involve planned international and domestic travel so applicants must be willing to do this.


Responsibilities

* Create and execute detailed , strategic sales plans for each market area, to increase market share
* Ensure the sales team meet and exceed the annual targets through effective line management, training and implementing sales techniques.
* Develop and maintain the Company`s agents and reseller network.
* Key Account Management
* Ensure sales processes, including quotation/proposal vetting, contract review and CRM system management are in place and being used effectively.
* Establish and manage business development activities in core market areas
* Work closely with the MD to develop and manage a comprehensive marketing plan.
* Plan and manage product launches


Essential Skills and Requirements:

* Educated to degree level in a technical subject (science, or engineering)
* Extensive experience in Maritime, Marine Science or Water Environmental or similar areas.
* Demonstrate strong sales ability with a proven track record of achieving targets
* Experience in managing a small team and coaching individuals
* Experience managing budgets and developing sales and marketing plans
