My client a Service Design Agency would like to improve society by making people`s lives better, simpler and smarter through design, data and technology.

We are looking for a Snr Producer/Delivery Project Manager to join there friendly design team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited by being an integral part of a team working across multiple projects that span product and service.

You will be working with the researchers, strategists, data scientists, experience Designers, developers and more across office locations and remote working locations to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on-time.

The majority of work is based out of the Manchester studio however, we believe we have to get out of the building to solve problems, and that design is a team sport, so this means our work can take us around the globe. For that reason, you should be happy, where necessary, to spend time out of the country (this can be from two days to two weeks).

Responsibilities

Project initiation including costing, setting and managing budgets, tools, workflows and assigning teams to tasks and activities.
Achieving targeted KPIs around delivery of projects, budgets and SLAs.
Ensure the right people are working on the right work at the right time.
Quality control, ensuring all projects are of the highest standard, technically and creatively and meeting the goals and objectives.
Liaise and work with clients throughout and be seen to be a trusted member of their extended team
Where appropriate, support on business development with existing clients, looking for new opportunities. This may include supporting the development of proposals and other artefacts to support the process
Be an ambassador to break down the agency-client barriers, and develop trusting relationships.
Report performance metrics and other project relating insight and data to the board
Introduce ways of working that support continuous improvement that help meet our clients needs and expectations

Experience and skills

In depth knowledge of production processes and delivery methodologies
Show the best way when reporting data and insight to the team and board
You will be able to devise production workflows and procedures to meet client needs and requirements.
Juggle and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
You need to be a coach, a communicator, an expectation manager, a facilitator and a diplomat.
An in-depth understanding of both technical and creative processes
A proven track record in fast paced environments delivering world class work
The ability to inspire a team
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
