Senior Project Manager - Exhibitions - Farnham

Salary: GBP 40k- GBP 60k

We are working with a well-established Exhibition Design Company. From one off activation campaigns to permanent installations, this award winning company create inspirational spaces, and content to deliver effective brand experiences. The boast some huge, well known clients and work with them - merging physical with digital to launch products, and communicate their services to a global audience.

They are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Production team, working primarily on the delivery side of projects. This would suit technically minded Project Managers, with at least 5 years` experience within exhibitions, working globally.

The role will take the lead within the Production Department.

Role and Responsibilities

* Estimating budgets for pitches and building these in to detailed quotations.
* Astute financial tracking and cost control as projects develop, from concept stage to final delivery.
* Managing complex RFI/RFP processes.
* Working with contractors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* A solid understanding of technical drawings and ability to forge close working relationship with our inhouse CAD technicians.
* External liaison with clients, contractors, event organisers, venues, suppliers etc.
* Site work:
* HandS awareness, running safe, well-planned builds for all parties involved.
* Worldwide travel for site visits or install management and project meetings.
* Working with a world-wide network of contractors to deliver a wide range of projects.


Skills / Experience

* The right candidate will ideally have 5 years in the exhibitions industry. Experience and good knowledge of Excel and Word are essential.
* Experience of Vectorworks, Adobe CC and general knowledge and understanding of technology and AV are desirable.
* Be a natural team worker.
* Have the ability to work under pressure.
* Be organised and detailed.
* Have excellent communication skills.
