Audio Visual Project Manager

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Project Manager to work for a leading global Audio Visual Integrator.

Job summary:

* Management of complex Audio Visual project delivery with roles and responsibilities including, client liaison, planning, technical design implementation, co-ordination and management of projects whilst ensuring financial targets are met.
* Significant travel will be involved attending sites and design team meetings.
* You will be responsible for pro-actively managing relationships with both internal and external clients and ensuring that projects comply to the functional and technical performance specification of the system design as well at the companys quality, installation, legal and health and safety standards.
* The role will have responsibility for project cost control ensuring monthly / periodic valuations and applications are processed and management reports produced.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

* Planning of works
* Preparation of all project paperwork reports
* Review Project deliverables; ensuring labour, material and technical requirements are met.
* Upon receipt of the project pack, ensuring throughout the duration of the project all technical aspects are met.
* To deliver a working system to the end user
* Project variation and cost control
* Reporting internally and externally project progress
* Sign off of project with client team and ensure invoicing occurs.
* Site Visits / Meetings / Surveys
* Health and Safety compliance with Project specifics
* Liaison with clients

Based in the East of England or Greater London salary is extremely competitive,GBP 40k-GBP 50k p.a. plus company car and benefits.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate will have:

* Minimum of Association of Project Management (APM), IPMA Level D equivalent, or Prince 2 Practitioner
* MS Project
* Full UK driving licence
* Solid theoretical and working knowledge of audio-visual systems
* Minimum of 5 years practical application of Waterfall and/or Agile Project Management methodologies.
* Demonstrative experience of having delivered a range of projects to scope, cost and quality.
* Must be able to work under pressure and to deliver projects to budget and timeline.
* Ability to coordinate and motivate project team.
* Working understanding of project management methodology and process.
* Empathetic communicator able to understand and represent clients interest.
* Sufficiently flexible and mobile to travel as required.
* Self-driven and results oriented.
* Able to work extended hours as required.
* Extensive Manufacturer/Product Training.
