Senior CM Engineer - Aberdeen

Salary: Salary GBP 40,000 - GBP 60,000

The Company

Our Client is a leading provider of data science and predictive analysis services for the oil and gas industry.

The Role:

The role reports to VP Engineering Support

To carry out various activities related to critical rotating and reciprocating equipment and several auxiliary systems utilising the latest condition monitoring techniques.

Candidates must have experience in;

* 3500 panel configurations
* GE System 1
* Machinery Troubleshooting
* Condition Monitoring database configuration and optimization
* Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
* Predictive Maintenance Techniques including (Vibration Analysis / Oil Analysis / Ferrography / Thermography and Performance Monitoring)


Role Responsibilities:

* System 1 analysis
* Machinery troubleshooting using portable vibration analysers, remote monitoring equipment and transient data capture techniques
* Implementing site surveys and support and condition monitoring programmes, utilising vibration and lube oil technologies
* Carry out offshore and onshore adhoc surveys as required (Vibration Data Collection, Baseline Surveys, Commissioning and Acceptance Testing)
* Provision of maintenance decision support
* Lube Oil Sampling and interpretation of laboratory reports
* Liaise with client representatives throughout the delivery phase and present findings on completion
* Provide technical mentoring to less experienced and non-core discipline engineers
* Provide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practises
* Absolute compliance with all company and client health and safety requirements at all times
* Comply with technical compliance and quality management standards, tools and techniques at all times
* Operate all client selected Condition Monitoring software and related systems


Essential Skills and Requirements:

* Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline (Degree, HNC or HND would be accepted)
* VA CAT II Vibration Analysis higher (Mobius of Equivalent), VA CAT I would be accepted with the relevant experience
* UK Offshore Training (BOSIET, MIST, Medical)
