This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of UX to join a leading UK Product Company and play a key role in shaping all of their digital products.
The company specialise in an end-to-end test automation solution designed especially for Salesforce.
They are a Fortune 100 company and Salesforce app vendor. They have a diverse range of customers spanning several industries, and they serve business sizes ranging from 100 employees to 100,000.
Job Introduction
The Head of UX should have a passion for being hands on and experience creating best-in-class user experiences. You will set design standards across a portfolio of products to produce high-quality, engaging, on brand and consistently high quality output, working directly with the Senior Stakeholders you will be able to promote, strategise and develop the products to their next step of creation
Role ResponsibilityDeveloping and creating Researched UX for the developing product.
Setting clear goals, managing resources accordingly, create product roadmaps and mentoring stakeholders towards growth and success.
Be a champion of design best practice and setting the user experience strategy.
Supervise and support the creation of user flows, wireframes, information architecture, interface mockups and final UI designs which synthesize user data and research.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers and development teams to iterate existing products and design and build new functionality.
Champion the user experience for all users, including clients as well as end users by ensuring the company follow a user-centred, iterative design process.
Play a key part in high-profile, business critical projects.
Stay up-to-date with market trends in digital.
The Ideal CandidateYou are an enabler of people and a person who loves to see your team grow and succeed.
You believe design is about problem solving, not pure aesthetics.
Expert understanding of interaction, usability and visual design principles and the tools used to produce these (Sketch, Photoshop etc).
Good understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design.
Thorough knowledge of UX research methods (quantitative and qualitative) and how best to apply them within the development process.
Able to work well with product managers, developers and testers in small project teams using agile development methodologies.
Able to effectively manage expectations of stakeholders while advocating for the user.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels, collaborate to solve problems, present design and sell solutions, and keep colleagues informed.
Excellent leadership and UX evangelism with a proven ability to work successfully with Product and Engineering.
A compelling portfolio, with the ability to describe the thinking behind design decisions.
Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in a management or leadership
