Marketing Manager

Our client is a niche underwriting agency based in the City of London. Reporting to the Marketing Director, in this newly created position, the main purpose of the role is to increase the company’s profile in key markets and grow the commercial and residential business through effective Marketing Campaigns.
Main Duties include:
• Create a robust and achievable Marketing strategy to support the company including identifying any internal resource involvement required for success
• Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department
• Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
• Overseeing the company’s marketing budget
• Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
• Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
• Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
• Preparing online and print marketing campaigns
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
• Creating a wide range of different marketing materials
• Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches
• Work with Directors, as required to understand Business requirements, including those of the Underwriters, Directors, and others as required
• To research, plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including external event participation, road shows, market seminars, briefings
• To contribute to the production of market briefings, research reports, and press comment, working collaboratively with the necessary internal stakeholders
We would expect the successful candidate to have 15-20 years solid marketing experience, preferably gained in Financial Services/Insurance. Experience with creating new marketing opportunities and a proven background of engaging clients with innovative and engaging methods that produced measurable results for positive ROI.
