Software Developer – Insurance

Highly respected Lloyd’s broker that specialises in offering niche insurance solutions to the international insurance market place are looking for a junior software developer with a focus on server-side development and are open to both recent Computer Science graduates and those with more experience. No insurance experience is required but would of course be beneficial.

You will be working on an end-to-end insurance platform that takes an insurance risk from submission through to pricing through to policy issuance and beyond. You will be part of a small but growing team so rather than being a tiny cog in a big wheel you will have the opportunity to make a big impact on the development process and will be one of two people responsible for all the London based development.

Applications are invited from candidates that fit the following criteria:
• A recent computer science graduate or somebody with experience in a software engineering role
• Strong in ASP.NET (C#) and SQL as these are critical to this role
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively, take initiative, problem solve, make decisions and turn ideas into code
• Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle processes: Requirements Gathering, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment
• Highly motivated and organised
