Our client, a global manufacturing leader in their field is looking to expand their portfolio across the UK, Europe and Worldwide and are looking to recruit an experienced, high calibre Divisional Business Development Manager to help facilitate their growth plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is well versed in the NDT (Non Destructive Testing) arena and is looking to make the move into a role that will give them autonomy and the chance to really impact on the shape of the division and their own future.

The Divisional Business Development Manager will have commercial responsibility for the business division including PandL, distribution channels and relevant product promotion across all industry sectors including: oil and gas, aerospace, chemical, power generation and industrial manufacturing.

With this in mind the key focus will be creating new distribution channels and developing growth. The person we are looking for needs to have strong commercial acumen and be able to work with the product development team to identify additional products ranges to add to the portfolio and grow the business.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine desire to be the best in class, build a successful division, work closely with the Sales Director and knows the NDT market very well. If you are looking to make a significant step forward in your career, we think this role could take you there.

The role will involve travel across the globe on a regular basis and we are looking for remote based individual, ideally UK based in order to attend Head Office on a pre agreed basis.

Main duties to include:

* Responsible for annual PandL (global) for the NDT business division
* Assessment of existing channels and establishment of distribution channels dedicated to NDT markets and end users
* Responsible for motivating and tracking results for the sales channels whilst driving a pipeline of account growth into both distribution and office networks

We are looking for:

* Regional or Sales Manager experience within the NDT sector
* Strong solution sell background
* Solid experience within ultrasonic NDT as a minimum
* Track record of establishing key account relationships, new products/ranges/growing distribution networks
* Motivated to deliver, with an innovative approach
* Technical/scientific background or inspection qualification would be desirable (although not essential)
* Ability to travel abroad regular
* Relationship builder with resilience and a positive approach
