Production Director

This successful and well-established company is at the forefront of design and manufacturing for the automotive sector, undertaking consultancy, prototyping and full component production utilising casting, machining, treatment and assembly operations at their Midlands facility.
Customers for their lightweight chassis components include the Automotive OEM’s and global Tier 1 suppliers, although they also manufacture for the oil and gas sector. Following significant investment in new services and product areas they are seeking a Production Director to be responsible for all operational aspects of manufacturing, quality and plant engineering managing a workforce of around 90 across two shifts.
Reporting to the MD the Production Director will be tasked with modernising and updating operational processes whilst spearheading continuous improvement across the facility.
The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of manufacturing operations and process improvement in the automotive sector and be a champion of continuous improvement and change management.
