My client, a service digital agency based in Reading is looking to hire a Snr User Researcher to join a great friendly team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally curious and excited by the prospect of working on purpose driven projects.
Responsibilities
Conduct research activities to better understand who we are designing for.

Always have an eye on the future. A keen interest in trends affecting our technology, services and society
Identify key research questions, ready to implement in stakeholder and user interviews
Gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative research
Introduce assets (visual, models, presentations, etc) which communicate research findings in a clear, concise format
Collaborate with the wider Design team to share insights and findings which will impact design decisions which will be implemented into projects
Stakeholder management of teams with a wide range of skills and capabilities
Requirements
Degree or training in Design, Psychology, Sociology, Human-computer interaction or related fields or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience conducting research in a Design/Agency environment
Strong knowledge and experience of moderating usability testing, co-design activities, design sprints, card sorting, ethnography, heuristic and expert reviews, remote testing tools and other research activities as needed.
Designing, recruiting for and conducting qualitative and quantitative research (including depth interviews, focus groups, ethnography, surveys)
An appreciation and understanding of service design practices
An understanding of digital development and technology.
An ability to communicate work visually/diagrammatically, as well as through the written word (Journey maps, storyboards, process flows, service blueprints)
An ability to investigate problem spaces in terms of people, business, industry and scenarios.
