Project Delivery Manager - Cambridgeshire

GBP 60 to GBP 70k

My client, a full-service digital agency based in Reading, UK and The Hague, Netherlands are looking for a Delivery Manager who with responsibility for developing and managing a Delivery Centre of Excellence (CoE) The agency strategise, design, and develop digital solutions for the private and public sector.

Ideal candidate will have extensive work experience either as a Delivery Manager, Portfolio Manager, Scrum Master, Program Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager or relevant Delivery Management role.

Responsibilities and Contributions

You will be responsible for building and maintaining an efficient and effective centre of delivery capability to enable the organisation to expand and grow.

Responsible for managing the talent pools, recruitment and staff development andretention.

You will manage, prioritise and plan and forecast all resources within the delivery centre, while managing the talent pools (budget forecasting and tracking recruitment, etc).

You will report on progress (using company systems such as 10K Feet, JIRA and other tools specified to underpin the processes).

You will develop strong relationships with the Client Portfolio Managers.

You will establish and develop effective relationships with key business executives and stakeholders in the Software Engineering and Creative Services functions.

Ensure the delivery capability is kept current and market relevant.

Maintain and update internal company systems in respect of the delivery capability.

Responsible for preparing management reports from information contained within the company systems.

You will ensure you resolve all matters specific to the delivery CoE.

Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the delivery of a Client`s portfolio of work.

Support pre-sales (particularly technical or delivery focussed) for clients and new projects.

Establish and maintain effective, long-lasting relationships with both the Sales and Management teams, and Delivery teams.

Deliver value to the customer and maximise company profit and growth

Forecast and track key delivery metrics (e.g. progress and resource management) for the Client portfolio.

Provide reports on delivery status for the Client portfolio for scope, budget, plans (including burn and velocity forecasts) and risks.

Collaborate with the wider delivery teams to identify and grow the delivery capability.

Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the Head of Delivery function in the development of company vision and strategy.

Lead any contingency planning activity relating to Client issues.

Knowledge and Experience

Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levan organization, including executive and C-level.
