Our client are a leading technology business who are at the forefront of providing innovative digital solutions to the healthcare industry.
They are currently expanding the softwareengineering team in Manchester and are now able to offer a fantastic opportunity for someone to get involved in Something BIG, NEW and EXCITING and play a leading role within their company.
You will have an immense amount of input into product development, decision making and the overall engineering culture of the company as they begin to scale-up their operation in the UK.
This is a great opportunity to work within an evolving DevOps/Agile culture on cloud-based technology (AWS) and micro-services architecture.
You will be encouraged to influence projects where possible; with daily stand-ups, communication and teamwork at the heart of their delivery.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack developer with proven experience and a specialism with JavaScript and Node.js.
Our client need an individual who can demonstrate a good understanding from both a technological and architectural perspective with a will to learn and thrive in a `can-do` environment.
You will work as part of a global team with opportunities to collaborate with an international engineering team in the US and could get involved in wide variety of projects (using tech stack) including:
* JavaScript / Node.js / React stack for dashboards and API.
* Headless raspberry pi fleet management.
* Order Fulfilment processes.
* Building a consumer checkout experience / flow
* Integrating Zebra printers into operations
* Partner API Integration.
* Automation, robotics, IOT and hardware
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
* A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
* Minimum 2 years commercial experience developing in JavaScript | Node / Node.js | React | SQL
* Minimum 2 years experience building backend APIs or Services
