Digital Insurance Lead Consultant

Our client, a leading provider of innovative insurance software and services, are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to strengthen their consulting team. Working together with the sales and implementation teams, you will bring seniority, experience and insurance and cloud subject matter expertise needed to align the company’s solutions to the client needs and ensure maximum extraction of business value. You are a self-starter, can-do person with willingness and ability to travel extensively and work with clients across EMEA region.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of typical responsibilities:
• Building long lasting relationships with prospects and clients and educating them and the market about benefits of using their Cloud based solutions as a platform for enabling digital insurance as part of larger API driven ecosystems;
• Advising prospects and clients on best approach to leveraging the solutions as enabler for clients’ digital strategy;
• Participating in insurance industry events and actively generating leads based on personal as well as partner networks;
• Providing significant contribution to proposal generation and presales activities by including responding to RFI/RFPs and delivering client demos;
• Interacting with all levels of client staff, including senior-level decision makers and executives, and conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses in support of business solution design and development;
• Working closely with application development and software testing for determining the system architecture, designing test cases and supporting UAT to ensure high quality and timely project delivery;
• Developing and conducting training programs and/or business workshops to clients;
• Managing clients’ expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns as well as preparing reports;
• Assisting in product management based on industry and product knowledge;

And a list of most common capabilities :
• Bachelor's degree or above in insurance, mathematics, statistics and/or related field;
• Very good understanding of business architecture and benefits of cloud native solutions and open API driven eco-systems;
• Minimum 10 years of working experiences in the insurance industry with more than 5 years as a business consultant working in the area of core system development / implementation in a big insurance company, IT service company, consulting firm etc.;
• Excellent business acumen and industry acumen; in-depth understanding of business operation processes and insurance products;
• Experience in designing and implementing insurance systems in the IT or business department of insurance companies is preferred;
• Proficiency in written and oral communication in English is a must. Arabic, French, German, Spanish language skills are a plus;
• Certifications such as LOMA, SOA are also a plus.
