Site Manager

We are seeking a Construction Site Manager / Project Manager (construction/development background) to work on exciting new-build residential projects in London.

As a Construction Site Manager / Project Manager, responsibilities will include the full lifecycle of a scheme from pre-construction work throughout the full build programme on site.

Skills and Attributes:

* Minimum 5 years` experience managing new build construction (RC Frame) of residential/ mixed-use developments within UK.
* An understanding of project management concepts and methodologies.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ability to be productive in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional work environment.
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
* Suitable IT skills to be able to work in an agile work environment.
* Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, HandS regulations and quality standards.
* Managing sub-contractors
* Experience of running construction teams to deliver project on time and on budget.


You will be responsible for:

* To oversee all activities on site, monitoring sub-contractors, plant and materials and subsequent completion of all stages of the build.
* Managing, organising and leading works on site.
* Ensuring, the works are on target for project completion, working in line with company health and safety policy and ensuring budgets and quality of work is adhered to.
* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality in accordance to design and specification
* Ensure awareness of planned work that concern your responsibility on site.
* Have a clear understanding of planned work and communicate this to the team/subcontractor.
* Anticipate and resolve issues.


To be successful in this role you will have:

* We`d like to see a proven track record of 5 years, managing mid to large scale new build residential developments within budget and according to project deadlines.
* Must have main-contractor experience
* Strong management, organisational and communication skills
* Strong work ethic with ability to motivate and drive a team toward a common goal
* Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions on own judgement.

* First Aid, Fire Marshal
* CSCS (black)
* Availability for 12 months (continuous contract available)
