Having been in business in the Isle of Man since the early 1950s, they are a long-established Chartered Accountancy practice and have been working with clients to help them solve their accounting needs by providing a wide range of accountancy, taxation and business advice services for all sizes of companies and individuals.
The Role
Insolvency Practitioner
Location Douglas, Isle of Man - relocation is essential and remote working will not be considered
Our clients are seeking a person with insolvency or liquidations experience to join their team on a full time basis. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing and exciting firm.
They require a minimum of 5 years insolvency experience, excellent technical skills and a good understanding of (and management of) risks within potential and current cases.
The role will involve taking responsibility for the new insolvency assignments for the firm and undertaking the usual functions of an IP managing cases.
The candidate would be expected to reposition to the Isle of Man, which is currently enjoying a Covid-19 bubble, with life continuing normally on Island. The move would suit an individual who enjoys the outdoors and more relaxed nature of Island life.
The Isle of Man is governed by Isle of Man Law and therefore insolvency work is performed under Manx legislation. It is not a requirement to be a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, however the skillset and experience of an insolvency practitioner is required.
