Audio Visual On Site Project Manager

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Audio Visual Project Manager to be the on site manager for a project fitting AV, Broadcast and PA and Lighting on a cruise ship.

You must be at least Bi-lingual with English and Italian and French would be a plus too.

You will be Project Managing and coordinating proper actions at first with the Main Client, the Cruise line (Secondary Client), sub-contractors and our client`s technical team for the installation of onboard projects (Public Address, Broadcast and Audio visual projects).

Key responsibilities:

Maintain contact with clients to ensure that the clients` needs have been met. Coordinate any actions needed to resolve any issues

Be the main point of contact for the shipyard and shipowner.
Manage personnel and sub-contractors with proper timesheets in order to be on time and in budget.
Prepare and update all necessary planning(s).
Assist our client`s engineering team to provide any local information.
Manage the warehouse personnel in order to keep a clean work space and live inventory.
Communicate on a daily basis with supervisors.
Manage the planning in order to match shipyard planning and commissioning expectations.
Communicate effectively with the main client.
Coordinate with accounting (Our client and their main client) in order to assist in the payment of our client`s invoices.

Based in Ancona in Italy salary will be Euros 70k-80k dependent upon experience.

Your skills and experience

3 years of experience minimum in multi-million AV projects
Candidate must be motivated and eager to learn
Excellent skills in communication multi-tasking
Minimum Associates Degree in project management or related
Minimum 3 years experience of Microsoft Excel
Experience using Microsoft Outlook
Fluent in English and Italian (French would also be useful but is not essential)
