Software Product Manager

The Opportunity

This is an exciting senior role in a growing and successful global company. As Product Manager you will work in a team, owning the product vision for the digital signage portfolio from the long-term positioning and value proposition to the short-term roadmap prioritisation.

You will be responsible for:

Evaluating ideas and new feature requests generated across the business, triage these to ensure the most impactful requests and ideas progress.
Document user requirements for new features to ensure developed product meets customer need.
Act as primary point of contact to the development team to ensure requirements are clearly understood and provide context and course correction where appropriate.
Keep up to date with competitors relative to your product area and act as the subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and present commercial pricing proposals balancing market competitiveness with profitability.
Own the go-to-market process alongside Marketing to ensure messaging is accurate and correctly positioned.
Support Sales during high-profile customer engagement as spokesperson and expert on our client`s products.
Work with other Product Managers to identify opportunities to leverage IP in all verticals and routes to market.

Based in Reading (hybrid with working from home) - salary is up to andpound;55k p.a. doe plus benefits.

Your skills and experience

To be considered for this superb opportunity, you must have knowledge of the following gained through your studies, commercial experience or similar:

At least 3 years experience in Product Management of software products.
Strong commercial skills and an ability to confidently work with costs, margins, pricing etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels including senior management, engineers, sales and marketing.
Must be conversant with modern technologies and basics behind how technologies work together.
Experience working on a global scale is desirable.
Experience in IPTV, digital signage or other AV technologies a plus.
Fluency in MS office applications.
Experience with Jira, Confluence and Salesforce desirable.
