Senior Valuation Surveyor - Central London

The Company

The company has been providing property expertise back as far as 1820. Their partnership has decades of experience in a number of niche property areas of chartered surveying - Valuation, Rating Consultancy, Building Surveying, Planning Development Consultancy and Neighbourly Matters. They also offer services in connected areas such as landlord and tenant issues, property agency and project management.

The Role

They are looking for someone to join their expanding valuation team focusing on Asset Valuation.

Role Requirements

RICS qualified Surveyor.

A minimum of 2 years post qualification UK experience.

Role Responsibilities:

* Preparing reports and accurate analysis of various property matters.
* Developing and upholding best practice guidelines for property acquisition and related matters.
* Undertaking Asset Valuation, Rating Consultancy, Building Surveying, Planning Development Consultancy and Neighbourly Matters.
* Offering services in connected areas such as landlord and tenant issues, property agency and project management.
* Leading in providing Rating, Rates Retention and Valuation services to the public sector.
* Maintaining a completely up-to-date understanding of current markets, regulations, and procedures within the property sector.
* Carrying out tasks, activities or other duties as may be required or assigned by senior management.


Essential Skills and Requirements:

* RICS Qualification
* 2 years UK experience post qualification
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Well organised with the ability to operate independently within a wider team under a broad direction.
* High client care and service awareness and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Public Sector Knowledge
* Understanding of the financial accounting valuation process for both commercial and residential assets.
* Ability to travel around the UK - UK Driving Licence.
