Salary: GBP 55k-75k per annum DOE

The Company

Our Client is an established and well-respected Kent Law Firm serving individuals and businesses in London and the South East from their 3 offices.

They have been successfully managing the legal affairs of local people for many years and are recognised as one of the top law firms in Kent.

The Role

The Investment Advisor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive financial planning service to new and existing clients.

Role Responsibilities:

To ensure full compliance by the firm with all Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) compliance requirements.

To identify and advance business development opportunities within the Firm.

Maintain regular contact with other fee earners within the Firm to encourage and develop referral opportunities. Provide strategic independent financial advice across a variety of financial products and services, and to make recommendations to clients that meet their goals and ambitions.

Keep up to date with financial products and legislation and comply with all industry rules and regulations.

To agree clear objectives linked to the Firm`s business plan and participate in the performance management system, evaluating performance and giving feedback as relevant.

To have a personal development plan and evaluate the effect of training on achievement.

To clearly identify the standards and systems required to continually improve our service to clients

To comply with all the Firm`s relevant policies and procedures

To ensure confidentiality on all appropriate matters.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

Qualified to Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum.

Previous experience as a Financial Adviser is essential. (minimum 4/5 years)

Excellent knowledge of all compliance issues and all FCA rules, systems and procedures.

Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.

Self motivated, friendly and professional at all times

Provides impartial and unbiased advice.
