Director of Operations - (Contract Cleaning)

I am currently working in partnership with a East Yorkshire based contract cleaning company. They offer a wide range of soft FM services to a broad range of clients across the Yorkshire and surrounding regions. With investment funds and resources available they are making plans for further expansion and are looking for a senior industry experienced professional to drive the business forward towards their goals. The growth will include the potential launch of news soft FM services. It is envisaged the growth will be mainly organic but funds are available to possibly acquire local cleaning businesses should a suitable opportunity arise. They are also looking to utilise further the synergy they have with their sister company to bring in additional business.

The potential successful fit for this role must have a well-rounded knowledge of the industry including day to day operational management (such as contractual obligations, H&S. HR recruitment, technical aspects etc), financial management and the sales, marketing and business development aspect. This role may suit an individual who has previously successfully owned and managed their own cleaning business or a candidate who was employed by a SME and who was fully involved with all elements of running and growing a successful commercial cleaning business or an individual currently with a large company but who wants to return to a role that is more hands on, but who is used to working within a smaller organisation. Candidates as well as having an excellent knowledge of the industry should be capable and driven leaders, be effective at developing and implementing strategies and be comfortable in communicating with anyone within the organisation and client base.

The remuneration package is negotiable but likely to consist of a £50k-£60k basic, a bonus scheme and other benefits.
