The Opportunity

This is a major opportunity to join a leading Audio Visual company at Director level and help grow the organisation to the next level.

Our client`s Global Services (GS) organisation supports their largest and most complex customers to drive consistently through their global enterprises. Global Services operates as an extension of the customers internal teams to define technology standardisation strategies, deployment approaches, enable consistent support and manage large estates of complex audio-visual, unified communications and collaboration technology solutions.

The Director, PMO - Programme Management Office, is a critical role in the GS senior leadership team and is ultimately responsible for the Global Programme Management Office. Working alongside Directors of Service Architecture, Client Service Management and Support Services the PMO Director is instrumental is driving the success of all project level activity and steers the strategic direction of the Global Services product and service offering.

The PMO is formed of three core teams; Technical Standards Management, Consultancy and
Programme Management, that operate on a global basis from key hub locations in US, UK, India,
Singapore and Hong Kong and is responsible for the consistent execution of all project level activity for Global Services customers.

Programme Management - Responsible for the definition and development of project-level
work package and their issuance to international project fulfilment teams (including regional
project management, engineering, QA and procurement) programme level operational
management and financial performance reporting.
Technical Standards Management - Responsible for the development and management of
customer specific product / integrated solutions catalogues. The TSM team own the GS
technical knowledgebase including all low-level engineering documentation to affect
successful specification and deployment.
Consultancy Responsible for the delivery of specialist design and deployment consultancy
services as defined within the GS Framework Service Description.

Your role is accountable for the extended regional project level teams, ensuring all
project level activity and resources operate in line with the operational and commercial frameworks defined at a global level with GS customer MSA / agreed service levels, driving service delivery excellence and innovation throughout reporting teams, supporting some of the brightest minds in the industry.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide leadership, inspiration and guidance to the global PMO team
Directly manage team leaders; Programme Management, Technical Standards Management
and Consulting.
Recruit, onboard, train, motivate, reward, coach and counsel direct reports
Monitor and track GS customer project pipeline, plan PMO capacity and assign to teams
Govern the project order acceptance process and transition to team assignment
