My client, an award-winning Publishing House is looking for a mid-level Product Manager to working with their Editorial team on improving their workflow, CMS and other systems.

Fully remote or 1-2 days in London - your choice.

Job Introduction

Publishing House new customer value strategy puts their customers and their experience at the heart of everything they do. It`s vital that we give our journalists and reporters the right tools to reach and engage with our users.

This Product Manager position is a key role where you`ll balance launching new features with working with internal stakeholders and improving the existing content management tools and workflows that surround them.

You`ll be responsible for understanding our users, setting a compelling product vision, prioritisation, and leading the development of creative, intelligent and versatile publishing tools. Ultimately, you`ll be responsible for the success of the product.

Key Responsibilities

Your KPIs will be around editorial efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You`ll be accountable for the success of our editorial tools and that we are providing our journalists with the right products to captivate users.

You`ll run point on Editorial Tools, being the central source of information and coordination.

You`ll be responsible for running continuous optimisation on our editorial tooling and looking at how to drive it forward to support ever-changing technologies.

Fully focussed on the customer and an expert at identifying ways to improve the customer experience.

Data-informed and a clear communicator about complex data.

A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organisation and between teams.

Confident at managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and able to make decisions and trade-offs.

A self-starter with a can-do, will-do attitude.

Communicates effectively with editorial staff - listens and empathises, but also represents the views of other stakeholders, especially consumers of our content
