Our client is a community of Architects, Master planners and Heritage Consultants and their clients go to them when they need to make sense of their project. Their complex scenarios often involve sensitive sites, listed buildings and admired places.

They are now looking for a talented, experienced Architect to join their team in Bristol. They need a results driven, tenacious, go getter to take on managing a mixture of bespoke architectural projects whilst also delivering new business.

They are a progressive practice, so you`ll need to understand their culture and strategy, identify opportunities and be responsible for developing staff. It`s an entrepreneurial job, with loads of responsibility and the freedom to deliver results.

QUALIFICATIONS, ACCREDITATIONS, MEMBERSHIPS:

Essential: ARB, RIBA / RICS

Desirable: AABC, IHBC, RIBASCA

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE (EXPECTATIONS):

Part 3 qualified and have at least 3 years working as a Project Architect for a UK based practice.

Experience on delivering projects through all RIBA stages and range of construction values.

Direct experience of complex refurbishment projects.

Working knowledge of delivering complex projects in Revit.

Technical experience in RIBA Stages 3 and 4, Site experience in RIBA Stage 5.

Experience of managing a team to a demanding programme.

Seamless running of all architectural projects to the highest standards.

Proven ability of leading, managing and developing individuals and teams.

Commercial awareness / aptitude for business management

Up to date knowledge of industry technical standards and statutory requirements.

SKILLS

Proficiency in REVIT.

Proficiency in 2D drafting such as AutoCAD, 3D modelling in Sketchup and in Photoshop and/or other graphic presentation software

Knowledge of BIM Level 2

Knowledge of Affinity graphic presentation software

Awareness of Passivhaus and current BREEAM standards

Excellent presentation skills (Visual, written and spoken) and contribution to high quality documentation

Good time management skills and independent team worker

Ability to organise and plan - analytical skills

Ability to successfully interpret briefs

Strategic and conceptual thinker, confident problem solver

Good communication skills at all levels (internal and external)

Delegation skills

Contribute to the seamless running of all architectural projects to the highest standards
