Salary: GBP 40k to GBP 100k

Our client has been advising and supporting their clients for over 100 years. Theyve grown considerably over that time and now have 13 partners and over 100 employees Their reputation has been founded on traditional professional values, matched with a passion to meet the changing needs of their clients. And, of course, providing first class Quality Advice and Quality Service every time.

The Role: They are looking for motivated professionals to join a growing wealth management division. This is a great opportunity to become a member of a friendly but ambitious team. The role will be based at their office in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

You will be responsible for providing both initial and ongoing advice on all aspects of clients` wealth planning whilst contributing to the growth and profitability of the team. Client advice will include investments, pensions, inheritance tax, trust planning and protection. This role will be supported by a team of experienced paraplanners and admin staff.

The Candidate: You will ideally already hold the CII L6 Chartered qualification. If you are an experienced adviser with a CII L4 qualification and can show a passion to progress your career with the ambition to attain CII L6, they would also encourage you to apply. You must hold a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and have proven ongoing competency in your present or most recent role.

Other qualities they look for are a strong willingness to both support clients` needs and exceed their expectations in order to build long-term relationships. You should be able to work independently, have precise numeracy and literacy skills along with excellent IT skills and be able to demonstrate a broad background of financial planning experience.

What you can expect: The successful candidate will receive excellent, on-going in-house training, mentoring and supervision as well as external training towards achieving further recognised qualifications. Your salary will be negotiable and based on experience and qualifications
