My client, a Digital Advisory Practice provides high value business and IT consulting services to clients across multiple industries and they are establishing a User Experience (UX) team based in the North of England. They are looking for a Lead UX Strategy Consultant to be based out of either their Liverpool or Manchester offices or cities close by, as long as you have some flexibility to travel to client offices on occasions.
The Head of UX will deliver outstanding quality to their clients, support their ambitious growth plans by leading business development opportunities and play a key part in developing other members of their team through their knowledge and experience.
Your future duties and responsibilities
You will discover: -
An opportunity to play a critical leading role in establishing a UX capability within a global organisation
Interesting and challenging projects to demonstrate your talents as a capable consultant
Supporting the establishment of UX capability including proposition development, go-to-market and other collateral
Lead client engagements, coaching a team of consultants as you go
Define UX Vision and Strategies for customer projects
Analyse business problems, draw appropriate conclusions and present user-focused solutions
Create blueprints and roadmaps to communicate solutions and aid storytelling
Design, communicate and support the implementation of agreed solutions
Critically analyse client stakeholders and lead future business development opportunities
Contribute to new business development including proposal writing and responding to bids
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have proven experience as a UX Strategist with a comprehensive appreciation of the UX Domain.
Your work experience will cut across multiple sectors.
You will be able to demonstrate logical structured thinking and a proven problem-solving ability, applied to complex client business problems and the design of design relevant solutions.
It is also essential that you have strong verbal and written skills, an ability to prepare high-standard materials and effectively present to stakeholders at all levels and you must have a strong attention to detail.
It is also essential that you have proven experience of leading and growing a UX team and mentoring less experienced members of the team. You will be willing to get your hands dirty, and lead from the front as well as being able to step back and be strategic.
An understanding of how a consultancy works would be highly desirable as would experience of playing the part of an expert as part of a consultative selling approach with potential clients.
