My client is building one of the largest independent technology and business services firms in the world is looking for a talented Data Consultant to join there growing team in Scotland.

Position Description:

Firms Scotlandandrsquo;s Business Unit is creating a new Digital Advisory capability to work with its clients to help shape, define and deliver high impact strategic change. Thereandrsquo;s a digital revolution underway in Scotland, and at their firm, they are designing the future, now. Their roles are only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities:



As a Data Consultant you will responsible for developing and delivering their Digital Advisory client engagements in both public and private sectors, adopting an effective business outcome driven approach.
You will have a client partnership and development mindset and be responsible for managing day to day aspects of client engagements.
Youandrsquo;ll work closely with and report to, the Director of Business Consulting within their Scotland Business Unit and you will work collaboratively across the wider Advisory function, drawing on the diverse experience and skillsets within it as needed to ensure successful client development.



The role can be based anywhere in Scotland with a hybrid blend of remote working coupled with client site visits/working as required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:



A clear focus on creating client value through a proactive and engaging approach to shaping, planning and executing projects
A Data professional with a track record and who has a firm understanding of the opportunity data presents commercially and can apply that thinking to any industry
An understanding of the end to end data journey within an organisation and the skillsets and technologies used to leverage itandrsquo;s value
Fluent in discussing data architectures at a conceptual level and an ability to make recommendations for change within them
Comfortable working in both a business and technical arena
Ability to develop thought leadership around Business Strategy and Transformation for different industries, combining latest innovative thinking with practical application
Credible presence in front of C-suite audience with an aptitude to influence senior leadership
Successfully worked with teams of strategists in a client facing environmen
