The Opportunity

Our client is a successful and growing technology company who are looking for an Audio Visual/Technology specialist to join their team as a Product Manager, to ensure all aspects of what the company sell are planned, implemented, shared and process driven.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end management of their product portfolio, from sourcing through to how they provide and deliver follow up support.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will work with colleagues to oversee, manage and/or implement:

Vendor activity including fully understanding each range, product specification and market
opportunity
Distributor activity in terms of ordering process, cost pricing, warranty management
Internal systems including product codes, quoting infrastructure, service delivery processes
Ensuring the product is ready to sell specifying and project scoping, quoting, and pricing,
colleague training workshops, overseeing creation of a sales toolkit
A follow up case management/warranty/technical support process where applicable
Target and rebate tracking
Stock management and forecasting
Manage all pricing information for the sales teams, ecommerce systems and all pricing
vehicles
Develop and maintain close relationships with appropriate people at all vendors

Additionally, you willandhellip;

Understand market demands, trends, and opportunities, and make recommendations on
improving the product mix
Oversee product and supply chain compliance, environmental documentation, and
certificates of conformity
Contribute to cost price negotiations, rebates, and sales tracking
Create a feed of tailored product information for publishing on their ecommerce sites
Contribute to the management and improvement of their Customer Experience Centre
Facilitate callouts, promotions and offers and ensure sales activity is fully integrated with
Product Marketing and vendor focus

Based in Leeds, near the Airport, salary will be circa andpound;40k-andpound;45k p.a. doe plus bonus opportunities, pension and benefits. Hours and hybrid working are negotiable and flexible and you will be joining a friendly, supportive team of colleagues at an exciting time for this growing company.

Your skills and experience

Experience of Product/Vendor Management for a reseller or distributor within the Audio-
Visual or IT industry, with knowledge of the Vendor and Channel Business Models
An ability to develop strong relationships with key individuals within the vendors
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good negotiation and presentation skills
A team player with the ability to positively influence peers in different departments
Flexible approach, excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail, good planner, and organiser
