Darlington - North East
Rural Surveyor (qualified or graduate level) - Darlington
Salary: Commensurate with experience benefits
The Company:
Our client is an experienced chartered surveyors and estate agents provide a range of services including valuations, farm business consultancy, rural and residential property sales and lettings, planning and development, landlord and tenant matters, farm subsidy and grants, environmental stewardship, surface mining and expert from Darlington, North Yorkshire and up to the Scottish Border.
The Role:
We are seeking a qualified or graduate Rural Surveyor to be based in their Darlington office. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in the valuation of residential and rural property but also a spectrum of property services including:
* Valuations of rural and residential property for secured loan, taxation, estate planning and dispute purposes.
* Sales and letting of rural property including cottages, farms, smallholdings, and bare land.
* Compensation claims against Utility Companies.
* Preparation of farm business tenancy agreements, grazing licences etc.
* Rural planning.
* Basic payment and stewardship.
Requirements:
* RICS qualification or training towards RICS qualification.
* An organised approach with attention to detail.
* A strong rural background with a practical understanding of agriculture.
* Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients and fellow professionals.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Good computer skills.
* Full UK drivers` licence and own transport.
* Previous experience preferred but not essential
