Remote £65,000 (plus equity + benefits) Permanent

Company:

Eden Scott have a unique opportunity for a remote Data Scientist to join a start-up in the Construction sector. The successful candidate will join the Research & Development team, leading their efforts to build data models of the world's construction projects, and use them to make construction better.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the creation of models for describing and predicting real-world construction processes, including construction specifications, schedules, constraints and workflows
* Collaborate on the development of mixed-initiative interactive systems that use these models to support the construction industry
* Design the real-time learning and reward cycles that enables their clients to benefit from their data
* Collaborate effectively and represent what data driven approaches can and cannot do with the broad interdisciplinary team



Skills Required:

* 5+ years of experience working in applying data science techniques to building products and services
* Experience in designing and developing models from scratch using R, Python, Matlab or similar technologies
* Practical experience with scalable analysis and interpretation of semi-structured data
* Experience in leading the deployment of data centric methods within an organisation
