Chartered Structural/Civil Engineer - Wilmslow

Salary GBP 55,000 - GBP 65,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Hours - Full Time (Hybrid 1-2 days Remote)

Our client seek Chartered Civil /Structural Engineer with at least 3 years post Chartered experience to be based at their Wilmslow office.

Due to their expanding workload, they are looking for a Chartered (or Nearly Chartered) Civil / Structural Engineer to join their consultancy office in Wilmslow. They have been in business for over 45 years and have designed and supervised both large and small construction projects in many sectors such as industrial, commercial, retail, education, residential and ecclesiastical providing feasibility studies, structural surveys, ground investigations and risk assessments through to full design services and construction monitoring for major clients

The Job Role:

As a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be required to conduct structural appraisals of existing buildings and structures, preparing reports, design, and project management of multi-million pound industrial, commercial, and heavy engineering projects throughout the UK and Ireland in most construction sectors encompassing drainage and infrastructure, foundations, steel, concrete and masonry.

Experience in bridge assessments and drainage design would be an advantage but is not essential.

Skills, experience, and qualifications:

* They seek a Chartered Civil /Structural Engineer with 3 years post Chartered experience
* Applicants should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to run projects from inception to completion,
* A hands-on approach to design and be able to communicate effectively with Clients, Architects, Contractors and other professionals.
