Underwriting Support Team Leader x 2

Our client, a leading international insurer and reinsurer is looking for two Underwriting Team Leaders to join the Business Support area of their Operations Department.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of underwriting assistants supporting multiple lines of business within an underwriting division. The primary objective of the teams is to ensure risks and any amendments to those risks written are processed onto the system in an accurate and timely manner – and as the Team Leader you will monitor and guide UA’s in meeting their administrative requirements and report on performance both to the team members, underwriting teams and management.

This market leading organisation is inviting applications from candidates with Team Leadership or Supervisory experience gained within the Lloyd’s / London Insurance Markets. They would also consider Senior Underwriting Assistants that have had some experience of training or mentoring more junior members of staff.

Binding Authorities and Bordereaux experience would be highly beneficial in relation to one of these roles
